JAY LENO’S “BIG DOG GARAGE” INVITES MEGUIAR’S TO DEMONSTRATE PROPER CAR CARE TECHNIQUES
Not many people can boast a private 17,000 square-foot garage, especially one that houses a remarkable car collection spanning 100 years of automotive history. Known as the "Big Dog Garage," it is the creation of comedian, Tonight Show host and passionate car guy Jay Leno. When Jay decided to enhance his website www.jaylenosgarage.com with additional educational "How-To" video clips, he turned to the paint and surface care experts at Meguiar's for detailing tips and advice.
"It was very flattering to participate and of course great fun to work on Jay's cars," said Mike Pennington, Meguiar's Director of Training, and one of the foremost experts in appearance care techniques. "Jay's vehicles are perfect for car care demonstration videos because they are show quality collector cars he actually drives, so they require the same attention to cleaning and polishing as everyone's daily driver."
Over the course of two video shoots, Meguiar's demonstrated four car care techniques - clay bar paint cleaning, metal polishing, proper wheel care, and paint maintenance.
